What made this celebration even more meaningful was that the initiative was powered by the generosity of BingoPlus app users through a fundraising campaign, proving that small acts of giving can create a big impact when people come together.

As the chosen beneficiary, Sisidlan continues to inspire through its handcrafted woven bags and livelihood programs that empower local artisans, especially mothers who were former inmates and who have found renewed opportunities through weaving. Through every bayong woven, stories of resilience, creativity, and hope come to life.

The beneficiary was selected for its strong commitment to inclusive livelihood development and its proven impact in transforming lives through sustainable craftsmanship. By supporting Sisidlan, the initiative aims to uplift a community that not only preserves traditional weaving but also provides second chances and dignified work for women rebuilding their lives.

Demonstrating the spirit of volunteerism, team members from BingoPlus Stores in Angono, Binangonan, and Cainta joined the DigiPlus Foundation team in preparing grocery packages for mothers from the Sisidlan weaving community, helping deliver care beyond the celebration.

To honor these remarkable mothers, the team organized a day filled with gratitude and care. The beneficiaries enjoyed a hearty lunch shared with the community and received food and sanitary care packages, along with gift vouchers that can be used for medicines and fuel. These simple yet meaningful gestures aimed to support their daily needs while recognizing their invaluable contributions to their families and communities.

DigiPlus Foundation launches Charity tab on BingoPlus app

DigiPlus Foundation has introduced a new Charity tab on the BingoPlus app as it expands its social development initiatives nationwide.

Formerly known as the BingoPlus Foundation, the organization said the new feature allows users to monitor its community programs and charitable projects directly through the app.

According to the foundation, the Charity tab contains project cards highlighting initiatives focused on food security, healthcare access, and classroom-building investments.

Users may also view real-time project progress, top contributors, impact statistics, and partner organizations through the platform.

The foundation said the feature aims to make community engagement more transparent and accessible while connecting digital participation with on-ground social impact.

“More than building a space of trust and transparency, the Foundation also aims to make the Charity tab a living library of stories by everyday heroes,” the organization said.

DigiPlus Foundation also announced that it will unveil its “biggest and most meaningful set of commitments to date” during BingoPlus Night 2026 on May 19.

“The gift of giving never stops with DigiPlus Foundation,” it said. “With the BingoPlus Charity tab, everyone is now within arm’s reach of handing out the next set of meals, pushing the next medical mission, and building the next classroom.”

Baguio City — DigiPlus Foundation, the social development arm of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., marked this year’s Panagbenga Festival with a ₱2 million social investment aimed at strengthening healthcare access, educational opportunities, and cultural livelihood support across the city.

The announcement of this initiative took place at the Melvin Jones Grandstand on March 1, 2026, during BingoPlus’ Panagbenga Celebration Day. The event served to merge cultural celebration with meaningful community engagement, thereby strengthening the foundation's dedication to inclusive and sustainable development.

The support package is designed to address priority community needs and is expected to benefit more than 1,000 individuals across multiple sectors. Part of the initiative will support a healthcare program focused on vision care for senior citizens, providing optical assistance through a medical mission organized in partnership with the National Commission of Senior Citizens – Cordillera Administrative Region (NCSC-CAR) and the Office for Senior Citizens’ Affairs (OSCA) of Baguio City.

Another component of the initiative will provide educational assistance to selected students, implemented in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to help ensure continued access to learning opportunities for young beneficiaries in the city.

DigiPlus Foundation also extended additional support to the Advocating Traditions for Onward Resilience (ATOR) of Indigenous Peoples, reinforcing its commitment to Indigenous livelihood development and the preservation of cultural heritage within the Cordillera region.

GameZone TongitsPlus Championship Turns Play Into Purpose for Filipino Communities

Manila, Philippines — Entertainment and purpose came together as GameZone, one of the digital entertainment platforms under DigiPlus Interactive Corp., successfully concluded the GameZone TongitsPlus Championship. Part of the program was a celebrity-driven charity match that transformed friendly competition into meaningful support for Filipino communities.

In the spirit of the recently concluded Sinulog 2026, DigiPlus Foundation – formerly BingoPlus Foundation – reaffirmed its commitment to uplifting Filipino families, turning over ₱1.5 million in post-disaster aid to ensure the light of hope continues to shine for every Cebuano.

While this year’s official Sinulog theme celebrated “United Faith and Love,” DigiPlus Foundation brought an added dimension of hope through Sidlak sa Komunidad. This initiative is a key pillar of the broader “Sidlak Sinulog” event by BingoPlus, which served as a co-presenter of the country’s most anticipated annual festival. Rooted in the Cebuano word sidlak—meaning radiance, brilliance, and light—the Sidlak Sinulog celebrated the enduring resiliency of the Cebuano spirit.

Championing Resilience

Through Sidlak sa Komunidad, DigiPlus Foundation channeled ₱1.5 million in vital recovery support to Cebu City. This initiative, centered in hope and resilience, provides significant support to a total of 50 families and five students in rebuilding their lives following the challenges of 2025.

“Marami sa amin ang nawalan ng pag-asa. And the only organization na tumulong sa aming pamilya sa nagdaang bagyo ay ang DigiPlus Foundation. So, this is a healing for us to keep moving. A healing for us to keep going and we have no idea kung wala ang DigiPlus Foundation hindi kami makapag-start, we don’t know where to ask help,” said 40-year-old beneficiary Peter Pineda whose house was severely affected when disasters hit Cebu City last year. (Many of us had lost hope. And DigiPlus Foundation was the sole organization to extend a helping hand to my family after the typhoon. This is a healing process for us to keep moving, to keep going, and without DigiPlus Foundation, we wouldn’t have known how to start over or where to turn for help.)

Hope takes center stage at Sinulog. DigiPlus Foundation, led by Executive Director Angela Camins-Wieneke, officially turned over financial aid to Cebuano families affected by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake and recent typhoons. The turnover took place during the BingoPlus Musikalingawan sa Sinulog event held at Plaza Independencia last January 18, 2026.

The BPO employee added, “To DigiPlus Foundation, maraming salamat from the bottom of our hearts. Because of you, we have reason to move forward. Maraming salamat!” (To DigiPlus Foundation, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have given us a reason to look toward the future. Thank you so much!)

The initiatives under Sidlak sa Komunidad were primarily held through DigiPlus Foundation’s BayanihanPLUS Program. In addition to financial assistance for families recovering from total property loss, the Foundation awarded scholarship grants to five deserving students under the DSWD’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). Each scholar will receive ₱100,000 to help sustain their education and empower them to pursue their dreams despite challenging circumstances.

“The families we touch represent the very reason why we do what we do,” shared Ms. Angela Camins-Wieneke, Executive Director of DigiPlus Foundation. “Through initiatives like this, we aim to extend meaningful support where it is most needed and stand with communities as they recover and move forward.”

The financial assistance further builds on DigiPlus Foundation’s earlier disaster response efforts in Cebu, a total of 8 million pesos in the wake of the 6.9 magnitude earthquake, Typhoon Tino and succeeding calamities impacting the province since October of 2025. The Foundation mobilized relief operations, post-recovery, and also extended aid to heavily-affected families of employees of its BingoPlus retail branches. These efforts, including further post-disaster recovery support extended during the Sinulog festivities, reached 12,636 families or an estimated 63,185 Filipinos.

In the week-long ISP event held last month, the BingoPlus Foundation turned over a total of ₱17.2 million in donations to key partner-beneficiaries, namely: the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), the Asian Development Tour (ADT), and the Sisidlan Rizal Weavers.

The ₱8 million donation to the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) reinforces the Foundation’s long-term commitment to strengthening the country’s athletic programs and empowering Filipino athletes to excel globally.

“This P8-million amount is a victory far greater than any we could claim tonight. The true winners here are our Filipino athletes and our youth,” PSC Commissioner Fritz Gaston remarked. “Our primary focus is to assist our athletes, particularly the aspiring young individuals. This generous donation [from BingoPlus and BingoPlus Foundation] will be utilized to support our youth, starting from the grassroots. We will provide them with the necessary funds for their training and practice in their chosen sports,” he added, emphasizing that the investment is dedicated to shaping the next generation of national athletes.

To grow the game locally, the Foundation also committed USD 50,000 to the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) and USD 100,000 to the Asian Development Tour (ADT). This ADT partnership, introducing its series to the Philippines for the first time, guarantees a Filipino golfer a coveted slot in the prestigious International Series. This move bridges critical opportunities for emerging talents and firmly places the nation’s golf facilities on the global map.

Celebrating a shared mission: Presenting donations of $50,000 USD to the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) and $100,000 USD to the Asian Development Tour (ADT) to empower Filipino athletes and promote golf in the country.

The Foundation’s inclusive development efforts extended beyond sports. Alongside BingoPlus and GameZone, BingoPlus Foundation celebrated Filipino artistry and cultural heritage by donating ₱500,000 to the Sisidlan Rizal Weavers. This support helps the local artisans maintain their business and advocacy, which gained recognition when showcased during the golf tournament’s Welcome Gala and the LIV Golf Music Fest.

It was an emotional moment for the women of Sisidlan Rizal Weavers as BingoPlus Foundation and GameZone donated ₱500,000 to support their business and advocacy, empowering women entrepreneurs and yielding more jobs in Rizal.

DigiPlus Interactive Corp., through its social development arm BingoPlus Foundation, has once again extended support to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) by helping expand its reach to individuals in urgent need. As the DSWD opened a new Crisis Intervention Unit (CIU) satellite office in Quezon City, BingoPlus Foundation contributed essential furniture and logistical support to enhance the agency’s capacity to deliver fast, inclusive, and compassionate services.

Located at Paragon Place along Commonwealth Avenue, the new satellite CIU office was established to better accommodate beneficiaries of DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) and Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP). These programs offer immediate financial relief to Filipinos affected by natural disasters, medical emergencies, displacement, and other life-altering events. The expanded facility allows for greater accessibility and a safer, more comfortable experience for clients.

Ahead of the center’s opening on June 26, 2025, the Foundation donated 1,034 chairs and 204 tables, which now serve as vital equipment for waiting areas, consultation rooms, and administrative functions. The donation was formally received by DSWD Assistant Secretary Paul Ledesma.

This is not the first time that DigiPlus has partnered with the DSWD. In 2024, BingoPlus Foundation supported the agency’s disaster response efforts through major rice donations and a ₱37-million emergency relief following Typhoon Kristine, one of the strongest storms to hit the country that year. The Foundation has also worked with regional DSWD units to serve vulnerable sectors through feeding programs, medical aid, and digital learning support.

The new CIU donation forms part of the Foundation’s ₱150 million commitment for 2025, which spans four core pillars: Technology Education, Accessible Healthcare, Community Resilience, and Responsible Digitalization. These initiatives are made possible by the continued success of DigiPlus’ leading digital entertainment brands, BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, which help fuel lasting social impact at scale.

The Foundation will also launch a barangay-level awareness caravan, designed to reach up to 100 residents per session. These interactive sessions focus on well-being, family dynamics, and breaking stigma, ensuring that conversations about mental health become part of everyday community life.

By urgent local health workers and educators with the right tools, we are helping communities become more compassionate and resilient. Cebu and General Santos City were chosen as pilot sites due to their high demand for grassroots mental health interventions, as shown by partner organizations’ case monitoring and dialogue with local health offices. Following these pilots, BingoPlus Foundation plans to expand its training caravans to Metro Manila and other priority regions.

Through these efforts, BingoPlus Foundation is not just raising awareness but building the first line of mental health response where it matters most in families, schools, and barangays.

Since its inception, BingoPlus Foundation has remained steadfast in delivering programs deeply rooted in community empowerment. In 2024 alone, BingoPlus Foundation impacted over 120,000 Filipinos through its core pillars and special programs centered on technology education, accessible healthcare, community resilience, and responsible digitalization. With new funding, efforts to multiply the good are set to grow.

A Track Record of Impact: Multiplying the Good

The donation comes at the heels of recognition for BingoPlus Foundation’s FutureSmart Program with a Silver Anvil in the 59th Anvil Awards and a Gold Stevie Award in the 2024 APAC Stevie Awards for its efforts to support over 5,200 individuals with investments in technology education. BingoPlus Foundation awarded high-potential students nationwide with IT scholarships, complemented by the PLUS Factor leadership development program, while target public schools received robotics and programming learning tools and training. Together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), persons with disabilities also gained vocational training in computer skills and digital design.

Recognizing the need to bridge accessible healthcare to far-flung and underserved communities, the Foundation’s KalusuganPLUS Program also supported over 30,200 Filipinos with vaccines, eye care, medicines, diagnostic services, and health facilities. In particular, 18,614 residents in Bulacan, Cebu, and General Santos were given access to clean water and sanitation facilities. The Foundation further provided medical equipment for home care of senior citizens and to PLUS wards in public health facilities.

BingoPlus Foundation’s Project Clean uses the MVP Filtration system to provide clean water to communities in need. This system filters 99.9% of bacteria and protozoans from 1 million gallons of water and lasts 5+ years, potentially impacting 100 people per filter.

In championing community resilience, the Foundation’s KabuhayanPLUS Program has been instrumental in providing disaster relief and fostering sustainable livelihoods, impacting over 82,200 Filipinos. The program has mobilized swiftly to provide aid to typhoon survivors and those affected by volcanic eruptions and other calamities, allocating over Php 40 million for disaster response. Additionally, the program supports livelihood recovery, not only through financial aid for calamity-stricken families, but also through investments in vocational training for solo parents, among others.

Anchoring on disaster response and sustainable livelihood, the Foundation delivered solar solutions to give light to the daily lives of the Mangyan Indigenous People (IP) communities.

BingoPlus Foundation further supports DigiPlus Interactive and its game brands – BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and Game Zone – in championing responsible digitalization through the “Pusta de Peligro” campaign. Activities like “Tamang Laro, Tamang Panalo” learning sessions enabled attendees to spot the signs of problem gambling and provide psychological first aid, while financial coaching for jackpot winners and infomercials promoted self-regulation and discipline in spending.

DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation’s Pusta de Peligro campaign uses Piggy and other characters to promote responsible gaming and encourage players to play within their means.
