Manila, Philippines — Entertainment and purpose came together as GameZone, one of the digital entertainment platforms under DigiPlus Interactive Corp., successfully concluded the GameZone TongitsPlus Championship. Part of the program was a celebrity-driven charity match that transformed friendly competition into meaningful support for Filipino communities.
Through its partnership with DigiPlus Foundation, the social development arm of DigiPlus Interactive, GameZone donated ₱500,000 to support charitable initiatives championed by participating celebrities and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The tournament showcased how digital entertainment can become a platform for giving back while engaging communities in a shared cause.
The charity event featured well-known personalities who competed in a special Tongits match, each representing organizations and advocacies close to their hearts. Beyond the thrill of the game, the championship highlighted how moments of play can translate into opportunities to uplift lives.

Among the participating personalities were Christine Samson, representing Friends of Saint Mary MacKillop Inc. in support of livelihood and education initiatives; Awra Briguela, advocating for health and wellness through Love Yourself Inc.; and, Yskaela Fujimoto championing educational opportunities for scholars from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
